While the violence is back, what happened to the nudity? Come on, show, don’t you like boobs anymore?

Aside from the Gillian story (which I saved for last), this was a pretty dull episode. Chalkie goes to hang out in the woods, and Eli and Nucky passive-aggressively snipe at each other.

Sweet and kind of creepy. Just like Steve Buscemi.

Some elements were beautifully done, like the confrontation scene at the Onyx and the scenes around the Gillian/Julia plotline. However, it definitely feels like a build up episode to the finale. Things will get crazy soon, but we’re not quite there yet.

This episode only covered three of our usual plotlines. (Instead of the usual 6-10). They also intermingled a bit more than usual. Which is to say, they actually intermingled.
