A ripped-from the headlines case with quirky clients: this isn’t exactly new territory for The Good Wife, but the episode handled this iteration reasonably well.

As The Good Wife goes on winter hiatus, it seems like an opportune time to assess the season’s record thus far.

I’m glad to see something of May, and even though I still say to you ICK re: the Liaison of Badness.

While the violence is back, what happened to the nudity? Come on, show, don’t you like boobs anymore?

Aside from the Gillian story (which I saved for last), this was a pretty dull episode. Chalkie goes to hang out in the woods, and Eli and Nucky passive-aggressively snipe at each other.

Eli, like many of The Good Wife’s second and third-tier characters, has always cut a comic figure.

All in all, this episode felt kind of…quiet and…(gasp!) subtle. Which is nothing short of amazing if you compare it to the Master Class in Unsubtly of the previous doggie-sex episode.
